Martha Galvez provided the best travel service for me when I booked my trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica. I treated my niece to the trip for her 21st birthday. Martha took the time to hear my plans and ensured all my requests were fulfilled. She was in touch with the resort and upon our arrival there was a birthday banner on the door, a slice of birthday cake and a bottle of wine awaiting us. I didn't have to do anything but tell Martha what I wanted. I'm truly grateful for her service as my travel agent. Thank you again Sunset Travel & Cruise AND my agent Martha Galvez!

Ryan planned a wonderful trip for my husband and I to Italy. He chose hotels we never would have knew about and made the experience seem less and easy. The company uses a helpful app where all our travel data was easily accessible while we were on the road!
Highly Recommend Ryan and his company for all your travel needs.

Our travel agent Ryan Roman from Sunset Travel guided, coordinated and organized our dream wedding at Dreams Natura in Cancun Mexico on 10/26/24. My husband and I shopped around for an agent who could help us find exactly what we visioned as a destination wedding. He skillfully and patiently listened to our requests, followed through and delivered. Our wedding was amazing. From the location, to those who coordinated events and the staff who decorated and weighted on us hand and foot. It all turned out exactly how we wanted. Ryan took the time to understand what we wanted for our wedding. He communicated clearly, worked diligently with hotel staff, and responded in a timely manner with all my guests. I highly recommend Ryan for any future destination weddings or leisure traveling. We have kept in contact with him as we plan our future family vacation in April 2025.

Westminster Abbey

Considered the finest example of Early English Gothic, it’s more than just a beautiful place of worship – it’s still a working church and the stage on which history continues to be made. The home of many royal weddings and coronations, Westminster Abbey is always a bustling tourist site and has something for everybody.

If you’re a lover of literature, consider a visit to the Poets’ Corner, which is the final resting place of famed authors Geoffrey Chaucer, Charles Dickens, and Rudyard Kipling, among others. If you’re fascinated by British royalty and the intrigue surrounding the family, plan on visiting the shared tomb of enemies and half-sisters Elizabeth I and Mary Tudor.

Buckingham Palace

If you go in the summer and select dates during the winter and spring, you can tour Buckingham Palace, the London home of Queen Elizabeth II. On the tour, you’ll be guided through the 19 State Rooms where the queen and members of the royal family host guests for state, ceremonial, and official affairs.

It’s full of breathtaking architecture that includes chandeliers, candelabra, paintings by Rembrandt and Rubens, and exquisite English and French furniture.

You’ll see some of the most magnificent pieces from the Royal Collection.

And you don’t want to miss the famous Changing of the Guard, which happens daily at 11 AM, from April until late July, and on alternate days the rest of the year. Be sure to get there early, as this historic tradition draws large crowds.

Piccadilly Circus

Located on London’s West End, Piccadilly Circus is generally considered to be the “Times Square” of England and easily lives up to its name. But no, it’s not an actual circus. Instead it’s the point where five busy roads meet and is the center of the hustle and bustle of London.

Whether it’s businessmen and women on their way to and from work, shoppers taking advantage of the department store-clad Oxford Street, or lively club and bar hoppers making the most of the night, Piccadilly is always buzzing with activity. From the restaurants and shopping to shows and people watching, it’s a great way to make the most of the city.

Stonehenge

Located in the county of Wiltshire on Salisbury Plain, this monument is one of Britain’s great archaeological mysteries. While there are countless theories about the site’s purpose — from a sacrificial center to a celestial timepiece — there’s no definitive answer as to what drove prehistoric Britons to expend so much time and effort on its construction. Some feel it was a place of healing, while others believe it was a burial site.

What is known is that this has become one of the most popular monuments in the world, and visitors have full access to this megalithic piece of history. There is one entry ticket to Stonehenge that covers the visitor centre, shuttle, and access to Stonehenge, and it’s suggested that you book your tickets early and allow for two hours of walking the grounds and surrounding area.

Natural History Museum

Located in Kensington, this museum is home to more than 70 million different specimens and exhibits, from dinosaur bones to a simulated earthquake. You’ll find it’s often full of children exploring the area, as it’s become a favorite among families — for both the incredible learning opportunities and the fact that it’s free.

Because it’s free, it can get crowded, so prepare for some longer lines. Speaking of preparation, consider downloading the free Natural History Museum app for your phone, which can help you navigate the museum’s wide array of exhibits a little bit better. It provides interactive maps of the museum’s interior, as well as audio guides and behind-the-scenes info on some of the collections.

Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens

If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, travel to this long stretch of lush green that stretches from Kensington Palace in the west to Oxford Street in the east. The tranquil atmosphere of the Gardens provides an experience unparalleled in the city, with a variety of foot and bike paths and flourishing flora and fauna.

Rent a boat and watch the swans glide over the serene Serpentine Lake, visit the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain, or stop by the Speakers’ Corner, a site for public speeches and debates since the 19th century. Continuing on the memorial walk, you can pass through Kensington Gardens and find the ornate Albert Memorial, the Italian Gardens, and the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Playground.
