Martha Galvez provided the best travel service for me when I booked my trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica. I treated my niece to the trip for her 21st birthday. Parthenon & Acropolis

What would a visit to Greece be without going to the Acropolis to see the Parthenon? Even if you’re not a history buff, you’ll still know the Parthenon is one of the most famous and recognizable monuments in the world and the symbol of Greece.

Located on the Acropolis, a hill overlooking the city of Athens the Parthenon of today is what is left of the magnificent temple to the Greek goddess Athena, the patron of the City of Athens.

The temple was completed in 438 BC, and its architectural style with huge Doric pillars has had a huge influence on significant architectural structures all over the world ever since.
