Vacations to Spain

When you think of a tropical paradise, you probably don’t think of Spain — but you should. Located off the northwestern coast of Africa, these islands are one of Spain’s premier beach destinations. All seven islands provide sensational strips of shoreline that roll out into aquamarine waters as far as the eye can see.

If you’re into surfing, windsurfing, scuba diving, or just laying in the sun, you’ll flock to different shores to revel in the gnarly waves, vibrant underwater world and soft sands. Here you’ll also find plush resorts with luxury accommodations with gourmet restaurants, sprawling golf courses, and prime beach access.

Away from the beaches are four natural parks full of activities for the nature lover. There’s Parque Nacional del Teide which contains the world’s third-largest volcano — and visitors can hike it. Lanzarote is home to Timanfaya National Park, where you can hop on the back of a camel and ride across the almost lunar-looking terrain.
