The Club Barbados is in desperate need of a COMPLETE renovation, in EVERY area. The guest rooms, (2) restaurants and pool area are NOT quality accommodations at ALL.
The locks to the guest rooms don’t function at all, thank goodness there was a chain for the door. The sliding glass door for outside access didn’t work, I had to contact maintenance to repair that lock. The rooms are totally outdated and requiring updating. We went with a group, and it was the overall consensus for every room occupied.
The Club Barbados owner/management is NOT focused on a quality experience/stay for the guest.

The team, most notably Martha, helped me realize a dream. I had an incredibly tight time crunch and she was able to get me on a plane to perform a surprise proposal in Asia. Martha Galvez is always wonderful when it comes to booking our all inclusive trips!! However, the resort we stayed at in Aruba was not to my liking this year! The check in clerk was not very welcoming! Her uniform was filthy! There weren’t any entertainment shows on the resort! The food was not very appetizing! They didn’t have a wide selection of restaurants and stated they didn’t serve mimosa until after 12noon!! What!! Upon arrival to the room, Had to call room service to have the toilet seat replaced for as it was scarred and stained! The air conditioning was dripping water was all over the floor behind the lounge area leading towards my bed! Definitely a slip and fall hazard! No accommodations for the mini fridge, it was completely empty and hot! Wow! No complimentary soap everything glued to the walls as far as shower gel and soap! It’s almost as if they scaled back on all accommodations!! Definitely didn’t feel like all inclusive and I paid more for this trip than I’ve ever paid!! Will never stay at the Divi all inclusive Aruba again!!

My wife and I hade an absolutely wonderful time on our Mediterranean cruise. Viking was absolutely fantastic, from the small, but important, details to the larger ones. Viking met us at the Rome airport and kept us under their wing (so to speak) until we boarded our homeward flight at Barcelona. All staff were always friendly and helpful. It was such a relief to have them looking after all the details like luggage, transfer, etc. And they couldn't have been nicer or more professional.

Our accommodations on the ship were absolutely out of this world. We loved the Nespresso machine, room service, afternoon tea, the fantastic food, the wonderful sights, and lively conversation with fellow passengers. It exceeded our highest expectations. The quality of the two hotels was consistent with all the rest.

We got lucky with the weather, and our air connections were made without a hitch. All in all, this was just as close to a perfect trip that one could have.

Our travel agent Whitney of Sunset Travel & Cruise was the mastermind behind all of this. She did a superb job.

Our travel plans were not trivial as we embarked on a 6-week vacation to several destinations in Croatia, Serbia, and Italy. My husband and I went to San Francisco and it was amazing! Whitney did such a great job with our accommodations and tours ! The Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman’s Wharf did not disappoint! It’s a large hotel ( 500 rooms) but the room was great and we enjoyed the heated pool as well ! They serve a large breakfast buffet for 3 to 4 hours and there is a large amount of people but they run it very very efficiently! It’s a good way to start your morning! She booked some amazing tours as well ! The Alcatraz Escape From The Rock Boat Tour was most interesting with beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge! Also the Ultimate Napa & Sonoma wine tour with Dylan’s Tours was awesome! An intimate tour with a good view from seat while traveling. We had some delicious wines and great restaurants to choose from at lunch ! So thankful we chose Whitney at Sunset Travel to guide us on our journey! Will definitely be needing her assistance when we go to Greece ! One day 😉

I think that the agents at Sunset should do a bit more research on the hotels that the clients choose. We stayed at the Riu Palace Antillas Hotel in ARUBA. This hotel is listed as a 4 star hotel but it was 2 star at best. The hotel is supposed to be renovated, but when my friends went to their room they found that the handle in the shower came off in their hand. There were 6 of us and we were all placed on separate floors. The hotel is all inclusive, but the restaurants have very limited capacity. They are first come first serve and do not take reservations. The menus are very limited. Umbrellas at the pool were scarce. If you didn't get there early, you were out of luck.The airport shuttle service did not allow enough time for us to get to the airport. They scheduled 3 hours for us to be picked up to go to the airport, but we really needed 5 hours as the lines are extremely slow and long. My friends almost missed their flight. If I were Sunset I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Sunset Travel & Cruise made vacation planning so easy. We gave them our dates and budget and they did all the heavy lifting. They provided us with multiple itineraries and we picked the one that worked best for us. That was it folks! The next thing we had to do was go on vacation. We had a lovely time and everything was seamless our transportation was waiting for us at airport in Mexico.

We just came back from our second vacation planned with Sunset Travel. It was even better than our last trip! We had a 10 day tour of Southern Africa, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Sunset Travel did all the heavy lifting. All we had to do is show up. Our itinerary was completely handled by them, transportation from airports and to tourist sites were all handled and arranged by them. We felt like a VIPs! Our agent was in touch with us throughout the trip to ensure everything went smoothly. We will continue to use Sunset for all our future travel needs.

Sunset Travel / Martha saved our family vacation!! When our extended family (10 people) agreed on Costa Rica for a special trip, we naively thought we would book it ourselves. After 20-30 hours of combined research, we gave up completely... and then Martha saved the day. Latrissa is the best! She is highly relatable, professional, above and well beyond competent. Just excellent all around. This was my first time using the services if a travel agent, and I'm happy to have chosen Sunset and to have been assigned to Latrissa. She was able to hash out a trip to Puerto Rico after we planned a trip to Playa Del Carmen (Mexico). Renee helped us plan our Europe trip (Italy, Germany and Switzerland) and everything was perfect! She put together an itinerary with all of our documents and scheduled tours, dinner reservations, etc through an app and also provided hard copies prior to our departure. Renee planned our trip to Italy. It exceeded our greatest expectations. This was the first time we used an agency. I had planned all our trips in the past. I could not believe how easy Renee made our trip. She took the time to understand what we wanted to see and do. She worked with us every step along the way to make sure our needs were met. The plans she put together were top notch. The accommodations she suggested were beyond our expectations. The coordination of drivers and tour guides was amazing. A few minor glitches could not have been prevented. The weather had plans of its own. We had the vacation of our dreams thanks to Ryan from Sunset Travel. We were originally just planning on going to Paris but after talking to Ryan we began planning a trip to London first and then traveling to Paris by train. Every part of the trip was seamless - from hotels, private tours, transportation, and recommendations. Having an Itinerary available on our phone was so helpful! We had a small hiccup when one of our site visits got cancelled but even with the time difference, Ryan was available to talk to us and very helpful. Competence and professionalism is what you get when working with Sunset Travel. Martha planned a wonderful vacation for my family to Cabo, and even had to do some juggling along the way, removing one person from traveling with us and adding another. She never missed a beat and made sure the accommodations were top shelf.

We relied on her expertise and followed her recommendation to stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos. Really great place to stay, especially for a group with a 17 year old and 2 twenty nothings.

Everyone had a great time, and it was due in large part to Sunset Travel and Martha. Her communication with us was always prompt and professional, and she facilitated everything for us. We're very appreciative for all the efforts made on our behalf, as they gave us lifelong memories.

I wanted to visit Paris for my 60th birthday present to myself and by myself. I honestly remembered this company when I went to college nearby in the 1980's.
Renee and Latrissa listened to wanted I wanted to do and arranged the flight and hotels. They made suggestions - some I took - and they made the arrangements.
I had a very enjoyable trip with no difficulties until the flight home which was delayed. I was informed by Renee on this and Latrissa welcomed me home.

I want to thank Ryan Roman from Sunset Travel and Cruise for his expert advise planing our 2022 Italy trip.

Three years ago Ryan met with us and asked: what our expectations were, what we would and would not settled for. He recommended different packages and then delivered an amazing trip of a lifetime. Through out our trip, Ryan stayed in communication with us via the Trip Plans app. Recommending sites and restaurants as we made our way through our 4 major city stops, Venice, Florence, Roma and Positano/Amalfi Coast.

We were amazed on how well planned out this trip was. From the sites, hotels, private tours/drivers, food recommendations etc... It was truly a trip of a life time. Thank you for the years of planning around the pandemic and all.

Had a great time at the resort Bahia Principe Gran Tulum and thanks to the Sunset Travel &Cruise who assisted me with eve everything I needed.

The resort also have a Kids Club with a lot of activities for the kids.
They really keep them entertained while we parents can enjoy our times.

Great place , great time , lots of fun , food , drinks , Sun , music and memories that we will always carry in our hearts.

The Riu Montego Bay resort is a beautiful place. The room was ocean front with a wonderful view. I loved the large shower and bed. Also large rooms with all the accessories. The pools where really nice computable and entertainments and food was great. I enjoyed my stay.

I really needed help with my overseas trip and met Ryan. He was fantastic and planned the best itinerary for me. Everything was smooth and when there was a change to a departure time, he reached out to make sure I was aware of it. They are in the neighborhood so it was convenient to stop by. The team at Sunset Travel & Cruise was super helpful through the planning of our trip. We worked with Hannah who helped us plan our honeymoon to Italy with only about 6-8 weeks notice (we kept pushing it off with pandemic concerns). She made everything easy and stress free. She gave us great activity suggestions and listened to our location and budget requests. Everything was thoroughly planned and we got a super helpful off-line app with all our reservations which was easy to pull up while traveling. The accommodations that were booked were wonderful gems. The activities were all planned with private guides and transport which made us feel much more luxurious than we actual are.
